Random variables
Random variables let you reuse a test with new values on each run. This is useful when a test always needs fresh data, such as creating a new user, because you don’t have to edit the test or the application between runs.
Use a random variable
Section titled “Use a random variable”- Open Edit Steps for the test case and go to the step’s type field.
- Clear the value and type
__(two underscores). Auto-suggest lists every random option. - Choose the option you need and save the test case.
