Test suite notifications
CloudQA has built-in notifications and third-party integrations that tell you the result of a scheduled test suite. You can set notifications per suite, for broad or fine-grained control.
Turn on notifications
Section titled “Turn on notifications”- Open Settings and select the Notifications tab, where regression test alerts are managed.
- Select Add Notification and choose a type: Email, Slack, PagerDuty, Microsoft Teams or Jira.
- Under Notify on, choose when to be notified:
- TestSuite Pass: only when there are no failures.
- TestSuite Fails: only when test cases in the suite fail.
- Always: whatever the result.
- For email only, choose which suites under TestSuite To Notify:
- All Test Suites: every available suite.
- Select Test Suites: pick specific suites from a list.
- Enter the email username or Slack channel name, pick it from the autosuggest list and save.
- Autosuggest shows a value only if you have added the matching integration on the Integration tab.
- When you register, your email address and phone number are added to integrations by default.
- Email addresses in User management are added to integrations automatically.
- To add another email address or phone number, add it on the Integration tab.
